The city is still odd. A constant howl of sirens as our police race to another tourist's lost luggage. It's sinking in what an incredible job our emergency services did on Thursday. They really are the heroes of this moment.

44. Wearing my "Underground" shirt

I'm wearing my "Underground" shirt that I got in London last year, even though it's a little snug. I traveled pretty much everywhere by Tube, even though it was in the middle of a heat wave. While I was impressed with how much it covered the city, it was kind of, well, grungy. Even so, it got me where I wanted to go.

May Brigantia protect all of her children from those who would kill in the name of their "religion". But, Londoners will get through this. I mean, we're talking people that lived through the Blitz and the IRA bombings. Like old Winnie said, "do your worst and we will do our best."
