Here are the sober facts! This fucking Administration has probably committed treason, perjury, made a consorted effort to spread misinformation to the press, defrauded OUR government, obstructed justice, compromised our national security by blowing the cover of a CIA agent involved in monitoring WMD around the world, FIXED INTELLIGENCE to fit their fucking policy to take us into a BOGUS, Illegal, BLOODY FUCKING WAR. Their lies have left over ten thousand Americans either dead, mutilated or inflicted with the darkest forms of post traumatic stress syndrome one can imagine! Their lies have killed tens of thousands of Iraqi's, destroyed a whole country's infrastructure, spread depleted uranium all over Iraq which will inflict perhaps hundreds of thousands of Iraqi and American people with cancer and extreme pain. They have increased terrorism around the world, turned the world against us, blown 300 Billion of our taxes, ruined our army, not protected our soldiers with armor, tortured human beings, fixed elections, appointed nuts to our federal courts and all the while acting like they were appointed by GOD and could do no wrong!

I am not only outraged I am FUCKING NUMB and feeling almost lost because it seems like all people care about is Michael Jackson's soap opera!!!!! The GOD DAM FUCKING PRESS WONT DO A thing about this or anything illegal Bush does yet they become infatuated with a blue dress with Bubbas seed on it??? Our lame Democratic leadership with the exception of John Conyers are a bunch of pussies who let Bush get away with EVERYTHING and we have a bunch of scumbags on FR slandering someone as kind and decent and beautiful as Andy who was dying of cancer???? We can start something here on DU and we can start it NOW! No more wondering what the next article is going to say about Rove, it's time for us to speak up loud and clear. It's time to call our congress people and SCREAM at them to get off their asses and represent the people who elected them and confront this corrupt administration with some real guts! In order to counteract attempts at "velvet revolutions" or undue influence, governments have often been heavy-handed in the dictation of propaganda to media outlets. Because of the role of propaganda, some incursions on civilian media are unavoidable.

The question we should really be asking is how to cooperatively ensure objectivity instead of enforcing dogma. After all, foreign governmental influence on the media is even less welcome than domestic governmental influence.

Joint civilian and military review panels, discussions about how to detect psyops and false reports, joint media and military investigations, and objectivity standards would be useful if undertaken sincerely. Unfortunately it would be rather pollyanna-ish to assume such could ever be done.

Excellent. There are all sorts of people who are extremely angry. They include nearly everyone I talk to outside of my work setting (which is not political) and even people I talk to there will spontaneously comment on what a POS the administration is.

Here's the good news, with NO FUCKING PRESS COVERAGE over 50% (and you know they lie about this) of the population thinks the war is a big f'ing mistake; 42% in Zogby (he got his revenge didn't he) said that * should be impeached...4 2 %...if he lied about WMD (well a majority think he lied so the next time they ask it, the question will be, Should the pResident be impeached? The numbers will continue to push up,up.

I'm in contact with my congressman and senators and they're hearing it loud and clear.

For me, outrage is SO 2003. I've moved beyond that to acceptance, and now I'm just waiting for them to self-destruct. It's happening as we speak, and it's ugly. It'll take a bit more time, but they will destroy themselves.

Look, we are in the Winter part of the cycle life and civilization. The Death and Destruction part of the cycle. The Spring/Rebirth part of the cycle will inevitably follow. Wait for it... here is comes. It may be a few more years of this shit, but the best thing to do is to stay safe. You'll get through it if you're smart. This is how history works, and we are in a very important historical period. What happens in the springtime depends upon who survives the Winter.

Re-read your first paragraph. My response to it is "Yep... they're on their way to accomplishing their goals!" The overall agenda, you realize, is to kill off as many people on the planet as they possibly can? You know that, don't you? They're just getting started, the REAL work happens in 2007 and 2008.
