So Clark Didn't Do Well at the Debate?
I couldn't watch it because I don't get CNBC here at college.

6. I'm in an engineering building computer, so I can't listen, but...
thanks anyway. I will read the transcript, though.

9. Well then, I think it's fair to say that...
this isn't such a bad situation. He could have easily bombed. So the fact that he did okay is a step, albeit a small one, in the right direction.

7. It was really only his introduction
Affable enough, although his identity is objectionable to me. If he maintains his numbers and still manages to avoid the fray it could be a stroll in the park. No doubt he could beat Bush, but is he the best choice for what the Democrats want to achieve?

10. I've been listening to the mp3 and that's not my impression
Sure, he doesn't have ten point proposals for everything, but neither to the others (or if they do, they weren't able to communicate them under the ridiculous time constraints).

Clark certainly seems to have passed the credibility test. Perhaps the visuals suggested otherwise, but he comes off as bright, articulate and likable. Frankly, for the American electorate, that counts for a hell of a lot more than mastery of intricate policy details.
