Bush Expresses Solidarity With Britain
Edited on Mon Jul-11-05 10:12 AM by HypnoToad

(gee, we've seen the same pic 100 times for 100 different occasions...)

"They are mistaken," Bush said of the terrorists. "America will not retreat in the face of terrorists and murderers."

Bush came to the
FBI training academy in Virginia to deliver a progress report on the war on terror. The White House said the address was planned before last week's bombings in London, but the deadly attacks give his remarks even more significance.

The "news article" has more... but why aren't US flags down "in solidarity"? If * is lip servicing Britain, how come he's using that "A word" again?!

This isn't a news article. It's irrelevant propaganda and just about schizophrenic in its approach too.

1. Blah, blah, blah, bush's same old rhetoric and I am so sick of...
hearing it. Also, his attempts at humor are so lame specially when he tries to be cute.

4. From Britain:
Yaaaawwwn...

Hurry UP, America. Trash the little sock-puppet, he's become tiresome and unfashionable.

5. We're trying but it's not easy....
he is now using the tragedy in London to scare the pants off the American people and making them believe only he can protect them. If you look closely you can see him salivating over what happened in London.

6. UGH.

I KNOW. Such a ghastly little thing. He'd never get into power over here...

Actually, I take that back.

2. Yes, DO join us in circling the drain. Feh!
I've gotten where I CANNOT listen to this man...I have to get it secondhand, through DU.

His completely canned, insincere CRAPOLA just incenses me.

3. Solidarity? He's still using the "so we don't have to fight them at home"
line - he used it on Saturday. That sounds an awful lot like "we're over here, and you're over there, Britain" to me.

7. I saw another thread that, as usual, proves * has nary a clue
I wish he'd STFU re: ages' old rhetoric and talk about the people hurt instead, which was supposed to be his fuckin' point of MAKING the speech in the first place. We understand the rhetoric, he's told us the same thing - like a broken record player - too many times to count.
