After today's story - this could be the title of your autobiography!

1. LOL! They say don't judge a book by its cover...
...but in this case, I think it's safe to make an exception.

3. I posted in the lounge a while back that I thought he was writing
his autobiography when I saw the title. Did I miss a story about him today?

Zell Miller pocketed tax dollars for 'entertainment'
RAW STORY

Notorious conservative 'Democrat' Zell Miller has been caught with his hand in the taxpayers' cookie jar - sort of, Lenore Skenazy writes in his column in today's Macon Telegraph. Excerpts follow.

#
When this nationally famous figure left the governor's office in 1999, he pocketed more than $60,000 in taxpayer funds earmarked for entertainment and other expenses at the Governor's Mansion, WSB-TV investigative reporter Dale Cardwell revealed last week.

Miller also picked up a check for more than $20,000 for "unused leave"-a sum to which he was not entitled as a constitutional officer, Cardwell also reported.

8. Thanks! I just saved that article as I can feel a LTTE coming on
and will need that as a reference. I'm one of those southern democrats who was becoming increasingly pissed that Zell wasn't thrown out of the party loooong before he removed himself.

I'm gonna hate pointing out that his unethical self voluntarily joined the unethical party.

5. Grover Norquist will express his outrage any minute now
insisting ole zell return THE TAXPAYER'S MONEY. Unless of course, ole grover is too busy fending off accusations that he's in some legal problems of his own. It continues to suck being them.

9. This was discussed by Mike Malloy last week.
Apparently no former governor in Georgia has ever taken the 'house money' when he leaves office.

This is such a Deficit of Decency!!!
