Police appeal for bombing footage

Police are appealing to the public to hand over mobile phone images, video footage or photographs taken after Thursday's bomb attacks on London.
They believe the footage could provide vital clues as the search for bodies and forensic evidence continues.

As prayers were said for the 49 killed and 700 injured, police insisted: "London is open for business".

Police revealed 1,700 people had already contacted the anti-terrorist hotline since the bombings.

seems to me that there are plenty of camera's ... and we have yet to see any footage of what happened --- I'm guessing we won't.

whoever planted those bombs is on tape... they cannot possible avoid the number of cameras in london.

because just before the bombs went off, the power failed (they claim, how convenient). Nothing (they claim) was captured on tape. I do hope the people make copies of their tapes before they turn them over.

7. Let Keith Olbermann know if you have a tape

He'll know what to do with them before they disappear forever into the deep recesses of the government. Even if someone had complete footage of the deed, I am sure the governments of US and England would suppress them.

8. Oh I think it will come out at the trial. It seems to me that they will

have video from every single store in the Metropolitan area. If I had a video camera (for say my jewelry store)that looked out onto the street - anywhere in London - I would go out and buy a whole set of new tapes. And store the ones from the day & week of the bombing (or send them in immediately). Just in case those little freaks happened to live in my neighbourhood or got on the subway near by store.

I don't doubt that your average London shop-keeper is willing to anti-up whatever - in order to keep as much footage of the freaks as possible. Shopkeepers are very aware of the value of video. It protects them and it is the first thing they would reach for when London got attacked.

Think of the power of the Whole Country antiying up their videos of that day. Everyone!

More power to the Brits. I have always said that video surveillance will put criminals in jail like nothing else. Even car license plates. I'm sure they are tracing every car too.

Oh and did I mention that they are saving all the Underground tickets. All Multiple millions of them so that they can get fingerprints! Once they know which subway stop the freaks used to enter the system, they go to that day's box of spent tickets and do fingerprints.

There will be a trial. These Brits are not kidding.

And how decent and serious they are when they immediately accept the help of French agents and Spanish expertese to do the investigation. These people live in reality. The Brits.
