Sometimes they work for me and sometimes they don't.
I would contact the Sound Posse directly and ask
for a copy- you say you have sent an email, I think that
is your best bet.

In this talk, recorded Nov. 6, 2004, renowned author and social critic Gore Vidal analyzes the 2004 Presidential election and traces the rise to power of the reactionary religious right, focusing in particular on predictions Vidal himself made in print following the 1976 Presidential election. Those predictions were made in part on the basis of comments by the dean of Right-wing direct mail fundraising, Richard Vegary, on his desire to "come to power" and "move against Congress." Vegary is now at the center of power in American politics. The talk also includes a reading by Vidal (recorded in Feb. 2004) of Thucydides account of Pericles addressing the Atheninans on the nature of democratic government and society.
