It's 2.19 here in eastern TN. I got home a little while ago and usually at the end of a business day the traffic is thick and gets backed up. Today was far from it. The traffic was considerably less than normal.

Property where jobs are costs too uch, so we mostly comute. The days of the "9-5" job are gone, and since people live all over, car-pooling is a pipe dream for most.. We must drive or be unemployed.:(

we just have to suck it up and pay more.. our own gasoline bill for y husband's comute has gone from $175 a month a year ago, to $320.00 last month.

6. No. And it's $2.40 here.

I live on the route to a big lake, and not only am I seeing MORE traffic, almost every vehicle is some huge penis-augmenter with some kind of rolling or floating gasoline-powered PLAY-TOY following behind on a trailer...

I ask myself "Self, WHERE are these people buying their gasoline? Because I can barely afford to go to work and the grocery store now..."

7. No, not in central Ohio
but there is a lot of road construction going on so traffic is a mess anyway.

8. No difference
Everyone has to get places.

I doubt you'd even see less traffic if gas was $6.00/gallon. You'd just see a lot more pissed off people.
