How can the chimp's justice department be after Rove????

Can somebody explain to me how a justice dept. prosecutor can be initiating this case when he has been under the direction of first Ashcroft, and now Gonzales. I would think the chimp and his minions would be protecting Rove at all costs, and would have muzzled Mr. Fitzgerald at the get go.

What am I missing here???

1. Think of all the justice department officials who went into law, were

brilliant, had lovely intriguing careers ahead of them they had devoted their lives to, putting all else behind their careers at times, only to find that "terrorism" was something they would soon have to defend or say okay to?

Not surprising at all.

Hell - I could be selling lotto tickets for a living and if someone put torture under my name and made it my responsibility without my knowledge or participation - I would investigate the WH too.

The FREAKS in the WH have no moral compass. They would not see this coming. Because they are sub-human. It is something they could not have planned for.

3. No, these are professional prosecutors - non partisan when it comes to

violations of Federal Law. Their personal and professional reputations are at stake; if they look like they're covering for a politician, their goose is cooked professionally.
