Americans EXPECT Another Terror Attack. great, just great.

http://www.usatoday.com/

A USA TODAY/CNN/Gallup Poll taken after explosions rocked the British capital revealed a surge in U.S. anxiety that there will be further acts of terrorism at home. (Related: Poll results)

Taken Thursday through Sunday, the poll found 55% of Americans believe terrorist acts are very likely or somewhat likely in the next several weeks. That's a jump from 35% in a poll June 16-19.

-------very likely or somewhat likely in the next several weeks.

1. What does it say about support for Bush?
I think one reason so many think an attack is likely is because of his inept handling of things. And if we do have an attack, one of the first things that should be asked is if Bush cut funding for protecting that sector of our society.

2. Chimps approval ratings will go through the roof
when it happens too. He got a bump just from the bombings in London. I guess his big problem is that he's always gotten rewarded for fucking up.

4. campaigns to instigate broad-based fear DO work . . .
it's been the stock in trade of BushCo since at least 9/11, and they've been very successful at it . . . all we can do is hope that, at some point, the American people will wise up and see through the lies and hypocrisy, and unceremoniously dump the whole crew into the Potomac . . . (which by then probably won't even violate newly gutted environmental laws) . . .
