2. as far back as "Bowling at Columbine" Michael Moore was able to point

out how the corporatists use FEAR to control our citizens. Rove, Norquist and the rest of the PNAC Cryptofascists have perfected their techniques during the rise to power of BushCo.
Peace, prosperity and tranquility are counterproductive to their goals.

This can be seen as far back as the assassination of Arch Duke Franz Ferdinand and the beginning of WWI. He was supposed to have been a somewhat enlightened monarch. The revolutionaries did not want him to quiet the revolution, so they eliminated him.

I really think there is a possibility that the neo-fascists in charge would welcome, and let happen, a big terrorist attack in the US. OK, maybe it's the difference between learning from history and wearing the tin-foil hat, but there's at least some question about how diligently the neo-fascists tried to prevent both 9/11 and 7/7. With the amount of heat being generated with the Rove/Plame case, I'm watching and waiting...

6. My RW Scripps-Howard screed is chock-full of LTTEs praising W's

every policy and action, especially his war on terror, and specifically pre-emptive war against Iraq. It's a kill 'em, kill 'em all mentality and it matters not how many innocent Iraqis are slaughtered or maimed, for it's better to kill and maim hundreds of thousands or innocents rather than let one potential terrorist escape. We, as a nation, are f***ed IMHO, but if so it couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of people.
