When Senate Intel panel "investigated" Iraq intel, did they set up Wilson

with false conclusions to help cover up for the White House on the Plame leak?

Seems to me the RW press keeps referring to Wilson as a liar based on Senate Intel findings.

This is the same panel that claimed there was no White House connection to the bad intel on Iraq, despite dozens of agents who reported pressure from the White House to "cook the intel books" to justify a military action.

Couple that with the Downing Street Minutes, and it is obvious the Senate Intel panel LIED to cover up for Bush, and they are more than likely to be lying about their conclusions on Wilson to protect Bush, Rove and Cheney on the Plame leak.

I think we need to re-examine the work of that Intel panel with an even more critical eye.

1. It's tricky
There are three stories - Joe Wilson's Story, the Senate Intel Committee's Story and what actually happened (in so far as we can determine it). Where do they differ, and why?

Unfortunately the easy way to solve this is to say "Joe Wilson is saying what I want to hear, and what i know anyway (that they fixed the intel), therefore his story is more believable."

5. Roberts chaired, Rockefeller was ranking Dem.
Rockefeller was pissed, as I recall, because the next part of the report dealing with White House accountability was put on hold till AFTER the election, and that is also the investigation that Kerry's letter on DSM is demanding be completed as promised.

6. CNN attacking Wilson's credibility during their latest report. This IS the
route the WH is taking and they most certainly PLANTED their points in the Senate Intel Committee report.
