I can't find the thread but it was excellent in that it reminded us of the context of Rove's remarks which were to tell the reporter that 1: Wilson's mission was bogus and 2: Wilson's report was wrong.

In other words, Wilson's report exposed that the WH had "fixed" the intelligence based on forged documents and Rove was telling the reporter to "ignore" Wilson's exposure of the truth.

4. There's another question first

Who disseminated Plame's name to Rove. This obviously happened in WH briefings and had to do with intelligence gathering (John Bolton), the one guy that's been fixing the intell all along and firing people who don't like it (John Bolton).

Indicates a lie. Indicates a hidden agenda. Indicates deception. All of which are aspects of both issues....
