Air America's coverage of the Rove scandal is pathetic.!

Air America needs to devote 80% of it's time to Rovegate. I have been listening and they are spending about 30% of their time on it. Not that the other issues are not important but anyone who has ever listened to Rush and Hannity is painfully aware that when they smell blood they STAY ON MESSAGE like a Pit Bull that has sunk his teeth into someones groin and WONT LET GO! They literally talked about Durbins Nazi remark for two weeks straight spending about 75% of their time on it. Even when they were not talking about Durbin they were injecting his name constantly! They literally were the perfect machine that got Durbin to apologies!

Also, all the news programs kept covering Durbin because all the Rush's and Hannity's of right wing radio KEPT telling their listeners to call the media and Durbins office. They gave out Durbins phone number and e-mail address every ten minutes. Durbin got 50,000 e-mails and who knows how many phone calls.

Rovegate is 1000000000000000000000 times bigger than Durbin's Nazi remark yet Air America is almost taking the wind right out of the scandal.

Republicans have learned how to FORCE the medias agenda and CREATE A SCANDAL even when their is none. Democrats have been handed perhaps the biggest scandal in American History on a silver platter and don't know what to do with it. WE SUCK at being tough and relentless and ripping heads off that need to be ripped off! Yes, nice guys finish LAST!

6. Stephenie Miller's program is getting worse.

No matter how important or significant the news from the day before and our reaction to it, she does "Tinsel Talk" every morning during the time available to me to listen to AAR. I cannot begin to describe how insignificant and uninteresting I think that Hollywood gossip stuff is.

The style of the rest of her show is built around making humorous remarks on how ludicrous the bush administration is. There are too many annoying sound effects in the background.

Steph, ... could you please present just a little serious discussion from time to time?

And what is with the half-day infomercials on KTLK (AAR in Los Angeles) on Saturday and Sunday, when I have all day to listen in.

have a tendency to ignore anything with "gate' attached to the end of it as Ho-Hum... Republicans and Democrats alike have over used the term to almost meaningless.

there's no way that Rove did this singlehandedly. he could not obtain the information by himself.

it's nice to point the finger at Rove and we'd all love to watch him fry. But we have to remember this is a greater conspiracy on more than one level. in regards to the leak, there had to be others involved. but in the greater picture, it's all part of the conspiracy to deceive and lie to the public and the congress about the reasons and urgency for war. that involves much more than just Rove.

15. I have been listening and he spent just two short segments on it

(perhaps 20 minutes) then he switched to the Iraq war and several other things. He just said he is going to get back to it though.

23. They intellectually dissected it, in a polite, soft toned, non aggressive

manor. It was interesting but it certainly didn't get anyones blood boiling. Their needs to be rage in their voices. Their needs to be disgust. They need to take some classes from Hannity on how to rile up the base.
