Veteran Appreciation Thread, Please Read.

Anarchy1999 has been trying for days to get the word out on the upcoming convention of Veterans for Peace in Dallas. Personally, I admire her determination to keep putting it out there in spite of an aneimic response. If you can, please consider

1) passing this press release on to your media contacts

You never know, the time may be ripe - given current events, for a story about veterans working for peace.

2) Consider making a donation or helping them out in other ways

3) Consider going to the convention if you are in the area,

But, at the very least I would like people to give a shout out to these people. They are veterans who are standing up for everyone who is against the war AND for their brothers and sisters in uniform who are currently serving in combat zones. If you oppose the war, and if you support the troops (and vets). Please leave a note for them in this thread and Anarchy can print it off and take it to the convention for us.

p.s. please consider giving this some nominations and keep it kicked so that people can see it and it doesn't dissapear into the void.
