1. Novak started out knee deep in it

and now it appears he is up to his neck.
Of course he lied to the special prosecutor.
When this all started he was stating that he ran VPs name through some "agency" contacts to help him decide if she were an active agent or not.
Had he not been told she was an operative would he have done this or even said he did?
He is obviously covering for his contacts (Rove) and the story will spin that Rove had no idea VP had anything more than a desk job a CIA.
Now they need to explain why they trusted her opinion on who to send to Niger for information on Saddam's yellow cake connection.
And how do they explain the spin they are creating that she actually made the decision to send her husband?
The deeper it gets the more it stinks!
Lets hope the media will not rest until all is answered or the investigation turns out to be real.

2. There's previously been speculation that Novak cooperated but lied to

investigators. I hope they nail him.

I think it was Murray Waas who also some time ago wrote an article saying that contrary to what Novak has claimed, the investigation has information from others that the CIA told Novak that national security, operations and sources would be compromised if he went ahead and published his Plame story. And the CIA also told him that Plame did not authorize Wilson's trip. That such a claim was untrue. Novak printed what he wanted to and blew off the CIA's info and warning that national security would be compromised.
