3. Jon is awesome!
This was his response to the grilling the WH Press Corps gave Scottie the last few days. Great report on Plamegate. "Karl will become Chief Justice" will be his reward for outing Plame - according to Jon's White House Correspondent.

7. I was cringing when that
"Rolling Stone" reporter matt tiabbi said he had bet that Kerry would lose.."he was too wooden".

I'm thinking it made Jon uncomfortable, too, but he was covering up his feelings on it.

8. Jon rarely points out that a guest is an idiot or a fool.
It's generally obvious.

The reporter claimed that "other" reporters parroted the opinions of the "cool kids" rather than arriving at their own conclusions about the candidates. Gosh, nobody ever called Kerry "wooden" before.

9. That's true, Bridget!
I thought matt was an ass and he couldn't even arrive at his own conclusion.

10. Kerry was wooden. If you didn't know his past and his passion
which was not aired, you would have seen a wooden, puppet, candidate. He couldn't even have passion about things WE knew he was passionate about, such as his anti-war stance. He had to be a wooden politician, passionless, go along, don't mess with the contributers' ideals etc... lose your soul etc...

12. So true, but remember, Rove and Co. create the reality
we are here just to study what they do.

13. To be fair to Tiabbi he didn't say Kerry SHOULDN'T win - he said he felt
he WOULDN'T win because he was too wooden.
