Bush Knew About Leak of CIA Operative Valerie Plame's Identity

Capitol Hill Blue: "Witnesses told a federal grand jury President George W. Bush knew about, and took no action to stop, the release of a covert CIA operative's name to a journalist in an attempt to discredit her husband, a critic of administration policy in Iraq. Their damning testimony has prompted Bush to contact an outside lawyer for legal advice because evidence increasingly points to his involvement in the leak of covert CIA operative Valerie Plame's name to syndicated columnist Robert Novak."

So here it is - direct testimony of at least two people (notice the term witnesses) that Bush knew and did nothing. At a minimum we are talking about obstruction of justice, a charge which would most assuredly be impeachable. I just think Fitz has alot more and is probably going after Cheney as the direct source of the leak.

2. Well DUH!!

Sorry for the sarcasm. Of course he knew, he approved (as if that mattered since he's just a figurehead) and went along with the smearing of Wilson as vindication for calling him a liar in the State Of The Union address.

We'll see soon if any of this matters. It's being swept under the rug as we speak. The Bush Media Machine is running in overdrive to quash this story.

3. It is the source of the leak they are now after

I think Fitz has a whole bunch of them on perjury, obstruction of justice, etc. But what he wants and needs is evidence of the source of the leak. My bet is that Cheney ordered the hit. Bush certainly knew and approved it, but Dicky Poo was behind it all the way. Notice Scooter Libby his assistant was named early on as a source. I think they just double teamed it with Libby and Rove front running.
