Jim Ladd is playing a set in honor of Karl Rove

He's going off on Rove. He gave a good background of the story and the spinning of the repubs. He's drawing a lot of comparisons to Watergate (he was on the radio back then) and he noted that Nixon was denying and blaming the Dems up until he resigned.

He played several great songs about truth and lying to promote war (all from the vietnam era) and now he's moving on.

Jim Ladd is widely listened to and he's getting the word out.

(For those that don't know him, Jim Ladd is a DJ on KLOS in Los Angeles. He's an "institution" in local rock radio and plays his music in a "free form format" where he matches the songs to themes and ideas.)

Sometimes he takes a jab or five at limbaugh and the other crap-spewers. I LOVE Jim Ladd. Good to mention him here on DU. More L.A.-based DUers should know of him. Thanks for mentioning this! Sorry I'm not driving at the moment. That's when I listen the most. KLOS is still a great station. A personal favorite of mine.
