1. They can't change what is meant to be
They can try to sway the public, but it is too late, the cat is out of the bag and is at the Grand Jury.

2. Nixon sought to convey "I'm not a crook" but failed too
Edited on Wed Jul-13-05 10:33 AM by Moochy
With a growing number of Democrats calling for Rove's resignation, the Republican National Committee and congressional Republicans sought to discredit Democratic critics and knock down allegations of possible criminal activity.

The key word there is sought, but they've failed.

Nixon sought to let the American people know that he was not a crook...

7. Not enough media attention yet
Although the story is picking up steam.

Meanwhile, here is what Pat Roberts had to say:

Sen. Pat Roberts (R-Kan.) said the White House did not have to discredit Wilson. "Nobody had to do that," he said, adding that "he discredited his own report" by including unfounded allegations. The RNC talking point memo included a list of anti-Wilson lines.

Um...... Senator Roberts.... what about the unfounded and FALSE allegations from Shrub regarding the WMD and Iraq being a threat? And LYING to congress?

I repeat.... what lying bastards Repukes are!!

4. What about the fact that every judge who has looked at the secret
10 pages of testimony has agreed with the prosecutors and extended or supported more investigation?

5. A two year investigation...
A two year investigation that has already sent one person to jail and forced the President of the United States to retain a lawyer is a tempest in a teapot?

What piece of shit Hatch is. How did that guy ever get elected?

12. I'll tell you what a tempest in a teapot is.
Impeachment proceedings for a blow job. That's a tempest in a teapot.

Treason is a fucking crime, and if we're truly "at war", as Mr. Bush likes to say, then Karl Rove should be eligible for the death penalty.
