The Republican Party is his party - make no mistake about that. They'll all prostate themselves to make sure he doesn't go anywhere. Just read Fitzgerald is now being smeared. :eyes:

Smearing the prosecutor. Let's REALLY piss off the guy who's about to charge you with a buncha crimes.

The only way this move makes any sense is if they're laying the groundwork for Speedy Gonzales to fire Fitzgerald. Think Archibald Cox.
