Flat Out Refusal to answer a Question makes one look a bit Guilty
Edited on Wed Jul-13-05 12:33 PM by mopaul
it strikes me as odd that they have answers for every damn thing that comes up, especially white house scapegoat scotty mc liellen. now even bush is officially refusing to answer any rove questions.

you must admit, it's a new tactic, and it makes them look guilty as hell. what happened to the usual blatant lies on things? ask about the economy, get a lie, ask about social security, get a fat lie, ask about the war, get hundreds of lies, but ask about rove and you get shit.

all in all, flat out refusing to answer LOOKS WORSE than lying your ass off.

3. I was thinking the same
thing. You know we are really in trouble if they have run out of lies.

4. Interesting that Scotty is not spewing the GOP talking points and
"Karl Rove deserves a medal."

Wonder what the thinking is. . .

5. Classic PR defensive maneuver
Nothing new about stonewalling. It does work, sometimes.

6. And sending *Talking Points* out the back door where the likes of
Fox News fights your battles for you looks weak and sneaky.

7. It's more likely they're worried that Fitzgerald will hold them...
...accountable for their public statements.

Thus, although they're chomping at the bit to lie through their teeth, they have Fitzie waiting patiently with an indictment if that happens.

What they say now CAN be held against them in a court of law.

I think they look like criminals because they actually are, and they know it.
