BOISE, Idaho (AP) -- A 10-year-old boy was found dead, hanging from a tree, apparently killed while trying to get high by playing the "pass-out game," authorities said.

Dalton Eby may be the second Idaho child killed in recent months while playing a choking game, trying to cut off the oxygen supply to the brain to achieve a type of "high."

2. This brings back horrible memories for me.

Back in the mid-80s, my next-door neighbour's son used to do that on their carport. He was 11 or 12 and a very troubled boy.

Eventually I guess the high he got from that wasn't good enough, so he drank some gasoline and it killed him. His mother found him in her car and when I think about it, I can still hear her screaming.

4. i was stupid enough to try this also as a kid....around 13...

I almost died....I lost control of my bladder and almost didn't wake up...this is one of the stupidest things I have ever done....I can see how kids are "pressured" into doing stuff they normally wouldn't do....I was teased cause I wouldn't do it at first...and then curious after watching others....

You know I am sorry for the tragic event,but their is one looming question behind at all.Mom and Dad WTF.. more than likely I am sure there where signs( red flags) that a problem was looming!!!!
