His name is Mike Levine. Anyway, during that show he made the claim that there were already nukes in this country and that it was only a matter of time before they went off. He said like four of them in different cities. He cited some source in the FBI, but I thought the same thing as you:

4. Now I am in no way advocating most of Savage's viewpoints...

but to his credit, he does rip Bush a new one a lot, especially on Iraq and border control issues. I listen to his show a few times a week mainly for entertainment value, and he is certifiable yet entertainingly so.

As far as his party show, I believe you are referring to the few times he has done stand up for his 'Paul Rever Society' members. Savage does admit to drinking, and talks about it quite a bit. he is kind of funny in that way, because on one day he is always droning on about morals and the deviant liberals, then one day he he says that he doesn't really follow a religion and likes to party it up. Perhaps he is confused from his previously liberal background when he used his real name: Micheal Wiener.

The one issue that I tend to agree with on Savage is the borders issue, he is very passionate about that...otherwise he is a loon

It is rare that a caller gets through that goes head to head with Savage, because of his call screeners...what a wuss.

There are not 20, but several thousand nuclear weapons held by
terrorists in the US. One of those terrorists could drive one of
their 100 megatonne "fat boy" in to downtown manhattan and create a
whole new era in manhattan profits for the re-construction industry
and the mortuary industry.

As the profits of an attack are far higher for big businesses than any
status quo of city liberalism, surely its just a matter of time.

I'm sure some military mind out there is wondering how a 100 megatonne
ground blast would give them a feeling of authority, of power in an
otherwise impotent terrorist life.
