Father Michyl Judge is the subject of a documentary being made now.

I heard an interview this morning on WBAI (NYC) with the filmmaker. He was effusive with information about Father Judge, who is more well known for dying at the WTC on 911 than his true christian compassion for the homeless, gays and lesbians, illegal immigrants, the pariahs of our society.

The filmmaker gave his phone number at the end of the interview and I called him later.

Here's the thing: This filmmaker is looking for anyone who met Fr. Judge and/or knew him in any way anywhere. So, if you have some information for Brandon, then PM me and I'll help you get in contact with him.

The documentary is supposed to be ready by sometime in December.

3. There are a lot of people in NYC who knew Father Michyl

due to his membership in a certain organization, however I don't know if it would be appropriate to break anonymity. I am assuming that anyone doing a doc on him would be aware of it thought. I have personally hear numerous testaments to his courage, kindness and compassion.

I did not know him personally, but I'll PM you anyway - I have an idea that might help him without breaking anyone's anonymity.

I used to carry around Father Michyl's Prayer (although I am not religious, it was simple and comforting to me):

I didn't know Mychal Judge (though I know a few Franciscans). We'll never really know how many lives he touched, will we?
