Is this The Eve of Construction?
I can't remember feeling this optimistic. In fact, I think I'd forgotten the feeling altogether.

1. gonna be a bumpy ride
but the truth will prevail, and truth will deflate these warmongering idiots. just remember, nothing is too low for them and no doubt they will attack us with fear.

2. Fighting the good fight always is.
But it suddenly seems brighter and less desperate.

Maybe it was a silly question, but I feel that many on their bandwagon are just along for the ride, and will abandon it when the tide turns, wake the fuck up, and we will then have the numbers to put this darkness to rest.

4. We must apologize to a burnt up world.
There are serious challenges ahead, but these past years have been a horrendous setback.

Likewise, peace and love.

5. You really believe that is possible? You ARE optimistic.
I'd love to see it, but so MANY things would have to change on such profound levels, I just can't imagine it.

6. The situation is dire

I wouldn't argue otherwise. It was beginning to seem all hope was lost. That's why the recent turn of events feels so startling in their infusing optimism.

I hope we all haven't grown as cynical as I was beginning to feel.

peace.

7. I don't *feel* cynical.
Maybe I am and I just don't know it, but it doesn't 'feel' that way to me. I don't think people are 'stupid' for example. Misinformed, yes, but not stupid. I've tuned completely out of corporate owned information sources for that reason. They seldom show me what I need to see: honorable people doing honorable things. Quite the contrary, seems to me.

13. I phrased it that way
because I don't consider myself a cynic, but I was beginning to sense I was becoming enshrouded by a dark mantle that had that feel. I didn't know how else to describe it, but I trust my gut instincts and feelings are often a good barometer and foreshadowing.

Stupid is as stupid does. Likewise with honor.

8. we must imagine this
following the greater good, relying on our constitution, we will prevail. i just hope we never become lethargic and apathetic again. that is what led us here.

15. In that course resides our only chance
to restore any sort of nobility.

Ignoble is an ugly word and a shameful reality.
