WASHINGTON (AP) - Republicans are nervously watching the fight over Karl Rove's involvement in a news leak that exposed a CIA officer's identity, fearing that President Bush's chief adviser has become a major political problem.

2. That is exactly the problem! The Republicans still see it as a political
problem.

It is a National Security problem.
A WMD's in terrorists' hands problem.
A TREASON problem...

Putting politics ahead of national security is what made Rove commit Treason...

5. This is interesting .....
and brings up an interting point: Wilson has been respected by republicans for decades. Never by the extreme right, or the neocons. But by the moderate republicans, including the first President Bush.

It may be important to not allow this to be defined in terms of democrat versus republican. It's right versus wrong. Patriotic versus traitor. I notice that MSNBC just ran two commercials that show the scandal in this light. We need to take advantage of this.
