1. Yeah, he said that this morning.
He said that Bush calls himself a man of his word. And, that it's time he kept his word about firing people who leak classified information. Bush ought to fire Rove.

It will happen, when Hell freezes over.

2. He Just Fingered Scotter Libby!

This is getting more curioser. I need to read the story behind this...Wilson's saying there was a "work-up" done on him prior to his writing of the NYT article...and Libby was one of those involved.

He's just upped the ante here, folks...

5. I'm Looking Right Now...
Yep...he said there was a "write-up"...inside the WH...to get info "on Wilson" (don't quote, I'm kinda paraphrasing) PRIOR to Wilson's writing of the New York Times article...in April...the article didn't come out til June.

The one name he said that was part of this smear campaign was Scooter Libby.

He also gave a brilliant defense of Fitzgerald's work.

Read into it as you will.

I'm liking it.

9. There is an interview with Wilson on Raw Story where
he discusses the Work Up and some of the people who could have been involved.

7. I think that was from his earliest statements, or
was in his book from last year.

I don't see how anybody can think this whole thing was OK, even if you thought there wasn't anything illegal done.

What the Hell is the President's top guy doing smearing government servants?

That in itself is way out of line.

15. I Was Looking For The FrogWalk Video Earlier
Joe appeared at a forum right after his book came out and spelled out the hit job being done on him and his wife...and how he was lambasted about it. I remember seeing that video on some talk show being totally trashed and "how ridiculous" (boy that word will live a life of its own now) his statements were.

Today, Joe's coming out and standing his ground. He's advancing the ball here and the questions you ask are the ones you, me, the Wilsons, Prosecutor Fitzgerald, members of that grand jury, the judge and the world would like to know.

Cheers...

13. Remember the Iraq group at the WH
Mary KKKMatlin,Karen Hughes, Cheney, Rover, Scooter....
They were the group responsible for getting the talking points to the stenographers like Judith Miller...They decided how they were going to screw with the intelligence....They also were the think tank in how to discredit Wilson!!!

16. Wilson evicerated Rove: sliced and diced him
Wilson: I made my bones as charges d'affaires for the first president Bush in Baghdad. I made my bones confronting Saddam Hussein on the eve of the Gulf War. I made my bones freeing 1500 Americans hiding in Kuwait, and negotiating the release of 115 Americans taken hostage by Saddam Hussein and being used as human shield. I also provided succor, support and lodging to 75 Americans who would have been taken hostage by Saddam Hussein. That's how I made my bones. Karl Rove made his bones with political dirty tricks. This is not a political issue, but a national security issue.

----

Anyone who watched that would want Rove's head on a stick immediately. Wilson crunched Rove up into a tiny little ball and threw him in the garbage. Outstanding.
