Getting Worried at the White House
Getting Worried at the White House

President Bush's lackluster refusal to comment yesterday on his political guru's involvement in the outing of CIA agent Valerie Plame did nothing to ease growing worries at the White House that trouble may be around the corner.

There were no words of support for Karl Rove. No expression of confidence that the White House will come through all this unscathed. Speaking with exceptional restraint about an incident that occurred fully two years ago involving his longtime friend and confidante, Bush said he "will not prejudge the investigation based on media reports."

1. I guess KKKarl can only advise him so far...
...and it doesn't include saying "Now be sure to say you have confidence in me today!" Although it surprises me. I mean, if KKKarl isn't advising chimp on this, the biggest scandal so far, who is?

2. This Morning the Today W. Show...
...made a point of passing along the line given them by the white house flunkies that ** would have given them an endorsement of kkkarl if the reporters had asked for it.

To me this seems credible and typical kkkarl. On camera, ** will look like hes in charge, but afterwards comes the soft spoken message that its business as usual.

I can almost smell rove's presidential medal of freedom!
