6. I haven't voted yet.
I agree with you, 9/11 and Bush criminality are connected, but then so is the latter with most of the above.

5. All of the issues listed should be talked about more, imo.
But, I voted for job outsourcing because I don't think many Americans truly understand what is going on. This outsourcing is going to make US the "third world" nation, not to mention the implied colonial/imperialistic overtones.

Bill Moyers did a great piece on this a few weeks ago. Here's a link for those interested:

7. Homeless Children
Any society that lets children sleep out in the rain is barbaric. There are at least a million homeless children in America, and the number has gotten larger during the Bush years.

8. Other: Budget and Taxes -- the shifting of the tax burden to the middle
class, the shift of wealth to the wealthy, and the strangulation of the federal government by denying it the funds needed to invest in a stronger, wealthier, happier future.

The Democrats need to make an argument for why the New Deal resulted in the greatest American economy ever, and they need to show people that the Repubicans don't like that because it spreads wealth and political power to broadly. They want the predictability of the wealthy reproducing its wealth and controlling the government, rather than the variability of Democracy and the diffusion of political power.

9. I didn't include that because I heard it talked about last night
The media underreports it, but the candidates are talking about it.

10. 9/11
Because the nominee will have to look strong on defense, and I don't want 9/11 to become a solely Republican issue, to be used against those who are "soft on terrorism."

12. If I voted for 9/11 it would be because I wanted the candidates
to challenge the Bushists to explain how it happened and why they wasted the goodwill of the world in the aftermath. I'd want them to ask why the Bushists exploited 9/11 to throw a war in Iraq that had nothing to do with 9/11. I'd want them to ask what the Bushists were talking about with the Taliban in the summer of 2001. I'd want them to raise questions about how the mujahedeen went from being on the CIA payroll as official American-approved freedom fighters in the Reagan era to offical evil enemies of the US in the Bush era.

13. None of the Above
They should be talking about THEIR plan for the future. Let's hear their plans for Iraq. We're there, now what do they propose to do. Let's hear about plans to reduce dependence on foreign oil. The economy sucks? What are we going to do about it. Let's set the agenda instead following the Bush "lead."
