so your September scenario makes sense. The GJ will indict, or not indict, whenever Fitzgerald decides he's gotten all the information he is ever going to get. I agree that it probably will not be in the next few weeks since he is going to make Judith Miller sweat it out in jail to get her testimony. Once the GJ finishes its business she gets a Get Out of Jail Free Card, which I doubt he is going to hand to her anytime soon.

but afterwards, she could be facing indictment on criminal contempt and obstruction.

I wonder if her attorney has warned her on that one?

demands on Bush to fire Rove which Bush will be asked about, proposed legislation that republicans will have to vote on, demands on republicans not to appear with Rove at their campaign events, etc etc.

Fitzgerald was saying that he had to get tough on the reporters because of an unexpected turn in the investigation. That indicates that he found something really hot. Perhaps he has all he needs. I doubt it, but he will issue indictments pretty rapidly once he is sure he has his case wrapped up, I would guess.

12. He'll let Miller stew for a while

He'll give her every opportunity to cooperate before he seeks an indictment against her for criminal contempt and obstruction.

I don't think she realizes how serious this thing is and I also don't think she realizes letting her stew for a while is Fitzgerald's compassionate side coming through to allow her a chance to keep herself out of a long stint in prison.
