Doesn't seem like the White House Repukes are going all out for Karl Rove
Has anyone noticed they're pulling their punches? The Repuke party people are slinging shit but the White House pukes are only stonewalling.

What do you think they know?

1. Not very many Pubs from the House or Senate.
Ken Mehlman, and some of the others are, but I've been a bit surprised that most are quiet and some are even backing away.

3. House members have to run in '06; Senators MAY have to run too
Anyone who's worried about being saddled with Chimperor's baggage during their campaign is probably in hiding.

4. They are avoiding...
...making any (further) statements which will be proven untrue. Let the hacks and flacks and talking sacks of shit spew the lies, when the truth comes out, Bush will feign outrage, and like Richard Pearle <sp>, Rove will "resign" his position as Dep Chief of Staff and carry on as "trusted advisor"...unless we can force them to dig the hole deeper. Telling ya, Miller is in jail because her source is the other WH senior official (see, Libby & Cheney), and as a propaganda mouthpiece for WHIG, she was leaked classified documents in full, and told in no uncertain terms that the name was Valerie Plame, and that she was a NOC.

10. Ms. Miller may be in jail because she
made up her stories and may not have a source to protect. If she admits that, her career is finished. Talk about a rock and a hard place.

7. Contrast Shrub's press conference yesterday with the one re: Gonzales
last week.

Note how often the word "friend" was used in reference to Gonzales, abnd Shrub's "anger" at Gonzales "treatment" by the opposition.

In contrast, no hint of anger at the heat being directed at THE MAN WHO GOT BUSH ELECTED, twice.

They won't fire KKKarl, he knows WAY too much. But they will distance themselves as far as possible.

Listen carefully to the language they use; they are doing their best to keep their distance.
