I thought he came across as weak. He wants to be part of the big story...he just doesn't want to get hurt. Journalists need to be fearless. Absolutely fearless. And too many of our current corporate crowd are timid. They act like dogs that have been beaten. They shy away and cower.
We need men and women who just don't care about currying favor with the administration. They need some intestinal fortitude.
Izzy is particularly shallow and lily livered.

outed Plame.

Seems like the prosecutor's case will rest on proving this. The emails and calls should prove this. Of course, I'm betting the Whitehouse will try to defend themselves by disclosing that they've made the same types of calls on other occasions. Wouldn't that be a hoot?

Still, even if they do that, the question becomes, why would making such a call about a relatively unknown person such as Plame be newsworthy. The only reason it would be newsworthy is because she's a SPY. Duh.
