Hardball. Has David Gregory ever sat in for Tweety before? Maybe 'new' found star status from the Scotty Roast? Cuel. :)

.. he just can't bring himself to report on anything that goes against * & Co.

And David did great, IMO!

16. Well, Joe Wilson mentioned Tweety's name on CNN today.
Wolfie asked him who told him "his wife was fair game," and then quickly added, "I understand you don't want to name the name." Good ol' Joe says "It was Chris Matthews on 'Hardball.'"

I was wondering if Tweety got out on legal advice of MSNBC.

14. Maybe since Tweety is part of the Plame affair now and was identified
as the source of "Rove says your wife is fair game" to Wilson - he had to go visit advisers. They had no choice.

31. I'm just guessing but originally, two years ago, Wilson said that he ran
into a friend who heard from a friend (or something) that "Rove says your wife is fair game". And now it turns out it was a direct phone call from Tweety to Wilson.

Of course Wilson would be "shy" with the story behind his sources.

Didn't Wilson say today that it was Tweety who called him?

I could be wrong. But that is what I am picking up.

15. Wasn't David Gregory the guy Bush pounced on for speaking French?
Remember that? Fuckhead couldn't stand it that somebody would bother to learn another language. Bush doesn't even speak English, and it pissed him off that a reporter was "continental." Dickhead.

39. It's not bad.
Nothing spectacular, but totally adequate. I give it a 7.5. Good, solid wardrobe choices, works with the shirt and the coat, but not drop-dead yummy.

The hair is GREAT, though, and I love how his eyes kind of twinkle up when he smiles. :loveya:

I also have a big ol' crush on Joe Wilson ever since I read his book. :loveya: So this story is pretty much better than brownies for me. :7

29. I got the impression that Rove leaking Valerie's name wasn't the prob BUT
Perjury could be more of what Fitzgerald is looking at.

So to refresh my memory, I looked up perjury

And didn't he say "legally, he probably didn't do anything wrong?"
I thought it was illegal to disclose the identity of a CIA operative. Not a NAME, but an identity. "Wilson's wife" is NOT Dennis the Menace's neighbor who bakes cookies.
