whole scandal underscores what "yellowcake" was all about: The deceitful WMD lie campaign that convinced a credulous America to accept the invasion of Iraq, now widely accepted to be a horrible blunder both strategically and morally.

Reminding people about the tapestry of lies used to justify invading Iraq is the most unambiguous and clear point that can arise from the Rove/Plame story, for the easily confused.
