Is There A New Enemies List???
Edited on Thu Jul-14-05 11:39 PM by KharmaTrain
After watching Jon Stewart destroy Bernie Goldberg about that screed of the "100 worst people in America" (of course, almost all being Liberals and Progressives), we started to wonder if there was another list like this one:

http://web.archive.org/web/20030621235432/www.artsci.wustl.edu/~polisci/calvert/PolSci3103/watergate/enemy.htm

The Nixon's Enemies List.

For fun here are the celebrities on the list:

Carol Channing, actress
Bill Cosby, actor
Jane Fonda, actress
Steve McQueen, actor
Joe Namath, New York Giants ; business; actor
Paul Newman, actor
Gregory Peck actor
Tony Randall actor
Barbra Streisand, actress
Dick Gregory

a lot of other interesting names on that list as well.

So...now that we're all certain this regime not only will smear any and all attackers, but that they probably have their own list drawn up. I figure, for some late night fun...please include the names you would suspect is on that list hidden in Turd Blossom's desk drawer.

PS...easy ones like Michael Moore and Al Franken don't count...creativity is encouraged...

Cheers...

2. We Laughed About Tony Randall
What the hell did he do? Felix Unger, subersive?

Many are still very much alive. One name that stuck out was John Conyers...good then, still good now.

5. John Conyers made the Nixon list!
"13. John Conyers, congressman, Detroit: Coming on fast. Emerging as a leading black anti-Nixon spokesman. Has known weakness for white females"

Making enemies for over 30 years! Good man!

7. He Musta Been Wearing That Panty Hose...
BTW...wasn't he gone from the Jets by 1973?

I still like the trivia question: Who did Joe Namath throw his last completed pass to?

Ans: the defense..

<rimshot>

Yeah, what did Joe do? Not share his women with Tricky Dick?

I won't pick up that tripe either. I'll bet Jane Fonda's in there somewhere, too.

10. Wasn't one of the first tasks of BushCo
to purge the Military of anyone thought to be unloyal? Heck, they actually went and flew one honcho off his ship so he could 'retire.'

Their purges of the cia, fbi and the military are probably the result of what we are seeing today, ala Rove, etc.
