I pretty much believe Rove was told about Plame by Novak
Edited on Fri Jul-15-05 08:35 AM by Walt Starr
Especially when thinking through the timing as Rove would have told Cooper after Novak told Rove.

So who told Novak?

Miller.

Yep, Miller told Novak and I'll bet that's what he testified to. Furthermore, I'll bet he testified to telling Rove as well.

So who told Miller?

Rove.

Oh what a tangled web we weave...

1. exactly, who told novak
and why isn't novak in jail?

because miller was probably the source, and who told miller, had to be someone in the administration

It won't happen but she deserves to rot in jail

5. And I'm convinced that this is just another lie to attempt to....
...protect Rove.

Rove got his information from Novak? And Rove sits in on every single meeting in the White House and Air Force One, and he needs to get information from Novak??

I don't think so.

9. It was all a coverup scheme before the fact
The beauty of this weird assed convoluted pre-emptive coverup scheme is this:

IT PROVES BEYOND A REASONABLE DOUBT THAT ROVE KNOWINGLY REVEALED THE IDENTITY OF AN UNDERCOVER CIA AGENT!!!

7. Miller told Novak, Scooter Libby told Miller, Cheney told Scooter
That's my prediction on this.

And Cheney and Rove cooked this cicuitous web up to cover their criminal asses, because regardless of who 'told' whom, Rove and Cheney knew it all along.

12. What a Novak's claim about 2 high level administration officials?
Didn't he write in one of his columns that he got the info from 2 high-level * admin officials? Of course, Novak has never had any qualms about lying to the public.

I'll be really glad when the indictments come down, and the tell-all books start coming out.

16. Read his words, he never claimed he got the CIA information from
two high ranking administration officials...

"Wilson never worked for the CIA, but his wife, Valerie Plame, is an Agency operative on weapons of mass destruction. Two senior administration officials told me Wilson's wife suggested sending him to Niger to investigate the Italian report. The CIA says its counter-proliferation officials selected Wilson and asked his wife to contact him. "I will not answer any question about my wife," Wilson told me."

The two administration officials told him Wilson's wife suggested sending him to Niger, not that his wife was a CIA operative.

Parsing of words, I know.

This whole thing suggests a conspiracy involving Novak, Miller, and Rove as well as other administration officials all of whom engeaged in a PRE-EMPTIVE COVERUP.

They knew what the hell they were doing, which puts the "knowingly" parsing to bed.

21. I think there's no doubt the leak was a conspiracy ...
... and that it was orchestrated with 'plausible deniability' of sources and had a preemptive cover-up designed right into it. This, after all, was exactly what the WHIG specialized in: the fabrication of an array of laundered 'intelligence' disinformation to construct a false facade for invading and occupying Iraq.

15. Whomever Miller slept with told her.
Edited on Fri Jul-15-05 08:50 AM by TahitiNut
She's got a widespread reputation of sleeping with administration officials (going back to Les Aspin) and using "pillow talk" to advance her malicious career.

Between Miller, Rove, and Gannon, it's tough to choose the worst whore.

This is all about "disinformation launering" ... including disinformation about the WMD. This was the job of WHIG, which included Rove, Libby, Rice, etc., and Miller has a long history of being tapped into the Chalabi/PNAC disinformation brigade.

29. It goes back further than WHIG.
WHIG was formed in August 2002, but the Niger embassy break-in in Rome occurred in January 2001. Wilson's trip, of course, was in Feb.-March 2002, and I believe this trip was requested based on reports other than the forged documents, which hadn't surfaced yet. Those documents were given to the US Embassy in Rome by an Italian journalist in October 2002.

The Pentagon's Office of Special Plans is said to have begun forming on the first day after Bush's inauguration in January 2001.(That groups name was later changed to Northern Gulf Affairs Office).

Otto Reich's State Departmant disinformation group, the Office of Public Diplomacy, was started in the 80's, and may still exist in some form or another, perhaps even with a non-Latin American focus.

Given what we know about PNAC, this ball started rolling even before January 20, 2001.

"The reports, virtually all false, of Iraqi weapons and terrorism ties emanated from an apparatus that began to gestate almost as soon as the Bush administration took power. In the very first meeting of the Bush national-security team, one day after President Bush took the oath of office in January 2001, the issue of invading Iraq was raised, according to one of the participants in the meeting‚ -- and officials all the way down the line started to get the message, long before 9/11. Indeed, the Bush team at the Pentagon hadn't even been formally installed before Paul Wolfowitz, the deputy secretary of Defense, and Douglas J. Feith, undersecretary of Defense for policy, began putting together what would become the vanguard for regime change in Iraq."

These false-flag people have operated under a variety of covers both inside and outside government agencies for quite some time. It's no accident that Poppy Bush is a former CIA director. It's gotta be relatively easy to plant fifth column cells in such highly compartmentalized organizations when you're the director. Some of the same names keep cropping up: Reich, Chalabi, Feith, Perle, Wolfowitz, etc.

18. Lets just cut through all the crap.
If the cops pull over a car load of kids and after rousting them from the car they search the vehicle and find some crack under the seat. If no one confesses who had the crack, who goes to jail?

A. The parents that own the car.
B. Everybody in the car.
C. The driver of the car.

Answer: C

In the Plame case the car is the American government. The passengers in the car are the Bush administration and their media collaborators. And the driver is none other than George W. Bush. He’s ultimately responsible. If he can’t name the perpetrators in his administration then he should resign or face impeachment.
