Listen carefully to every word Luskin says. Attorney's are good at this. ie: "Rove NEVER released Joe Wilson's wife's name." Well, even the emails that have been released have said in the converdation with Cooper, Rove NEVER DID say Valerie Plame, he said Jow Wilson's wife! So strictly speaking, what Luskin said concurrs with the email. Lufkin states his client is NOT a target of this investigation. That's also apparently true. Rove is not a target...yet! He's not a witness either. He's a subject, that can be converted to a target based upon testimony from others.

I think you're right on the possible conspiracy charges, and that involves co-conspirators too. I think there is also a strong case to be made for purgury, obstruction, and several other charges to come down the road.

This is definately a "Stay tuned" story!

silly to the press with info that was, um, not strictly accurate, and the press still takes the info he gives them and runs with it. Stenography again.

Fool 'em once and if you're associated with the Administration clearly you can keep fooling them again and again....

But I've no doubt the Plame info was laundered via the press so that certain folks could claim "plausible deniability" and also create the atmosphere that "everyone in Washington knew about Plame." It's the old game of telephone in a way.
