with your first premise-he wasn't out to expose any lies-he was just doing his charge-watching him at Conyers basement meeting,the guy did his homework and the Bush administration didn't like his conclusion-THEY politicized it.THEY were the ones who thought they could get away with anything by espousing any and everything with a 9/11 reference.They jumped the shark.
