I happened to tune in for the first time in a while yesterday.

The entire show was about Rove, and some things that came out in the Raw Story interview yesterday.

this appears to go WAY beyond just outing the wife of someone in revenge.

Plame was involved in a CIA operation that created a fake oil company (I forget the name) to infiltrate other organizations and companies that they thought were getting involved in WMDs and terrorism.

Novak outed the company, not just plame. everyone involved in the project had their cover blown. Madsen suggests that at least one agent was killed.

the crazy thing is, it appears possible that this project Plame was involved in was getting close to finding out some things about Saudi Arabia.

on the surface, it's just about getting back at Wilson, but I don't think that's all there is to this story.

is searching their files to see if Valerie Plame was ever in their country. Anything she touched in the past is now dead to our intelligence agencies.

Cheney is probably up to his ears in profiteering from WMD proliferation, through Halliburton or otherwise.

Plame's operation was blown, in part, to keep this from coming out.

Bush, Cheney, Saudi Arabia - all the same.

6. I remember those stories--Plame's operation was getting too close

for comfort to WMD producers, and possibly Halliburton was involved. I always thought outing Plame and her entire operation was overkill if it was done just to get back at Wilson. Like going after a fly with a steamroller instead of a flyswatter.

was a company named Brewster-Jennings, the originators of Exxon or Mobil Oil comapny, I don't remember which.

Anyway, Randi also mentioned that not only was Plame's cover blown, but also the cover of any other consultant that worked for Brewster-Jennings.

And any company or person doing business with Brewster-Jennings immediately became suspect.
