'Angry Left Driving Democrats,' Republican Chairman Says

(CNSNews.com) - The investigation into a White House leak is proceeding; the White House and Karl Rove are cooperating with investigators; and "the angry Left should not drive the Democrat Party," Republican National Committee Chairman Ken Mehlman said on Friday.

"The party of Truman and JFK and FDR ought to be about higher things than smearing somebody's good name," Mehlman said in an interview on Fox & Friends.

We ought to let the investigation go forward. I don't think we should be commenting on a pending investigation."

Mehlman said press reports about Karl Rove's role in the leak, rather than implicate him, tend to exonerate him by showing that "Karl Rove wasn't the leaker; he was the recipient of the information, not the provider."

6. Democrat is not an adjective, Ken.
Maybe when he starts referring to our Party by its actual name, I'll give a shit what he says.

If someone mocked me everytime they mentioned my name, I'd be angry too.

14. I guess I'd rather be "angry"
Than "insane" or "greedy," Mr. Mehlman. But I suppose there's a reason you're not angry, even though we've lost nearly 2,000 military, killed tens of thousands of Iraqis and Afghans, poured hundreds of billions of dollars into an imperial boondoggle, and all to make ourselves less safe from terrorists than before.

But you know all this, Mr. Mehlman. I know you do, because you're not a congenital idiot. The larger question is why doesn't this make you angry?

17. If there was any hope left that reasonable people with
progressive tendencies would ever vote for a repuke again he, Rove and Chaney have made sure it will never happen. They have insulted us so regularly that even if overnight they became reasonable thinking people, no one with the slightest progressive tendencies would ever vote for them. They are burning their bridges and turning off millions of possible voters.

Liberal, Democrat, Feminism, and tolerance are not dirty words. They are proud words which accurately describe me and a lot of American voters. Find someone else to play name calling games with you backstreet bullies because none of you are going to remain in power following the next election.
