They are trying to set up a system of communication so they can all be "on the same page."

Knowing Democrats, that will not be easy. Maybe they can improve and yet not be robots.

The DLC Dems who just picked a new leader will not really want to be on the page with so-called progressives. It will be hard.

However, most dems are too independant to use them.

What the dems do not have is a rapid-response system for getting them out quickly in response to breaking events. In my campaigns, we were able to get enormous, extensively researched briefing books for congressional candidates, with extensive background as well as talking points, on every issue imaginable. And about once a week, they'd send out more material based on whats been going on.

But apparently the republicans have a much quicker response time in getting out these things when something happens, and they are much more willing to march in lockstep and use them.

9. Clinton Had The War Room

Very good point...when a scandal breaks, Democrats have been beaten to the tube since the RNC has their people already plugged into place while there's really no "go-to Democrat".

I see a lot of different talking points going around...the House has theirs, the Senate has theirs, the DNC has theirs, the CBC has theirs and so on. This has to be improved just for our own clarification.
