Young Republicans hold Affirmative Action Bakesale
A group called the Young Republicans of Texas held an "Affirmative Action Bakesale" to protest the unfairness of AA. White males had to pay $1 for a cookie, while white females payed 75 cents, hispanics 50 cents, and blacks 25 cents.

"The group sold three cookies during its protest, raising $1.50", before they were shut down by the school.

Awwww. Aren't these young Republican kids all smart and cute and clever. They really showed a strong grasp of the world. How many of these kids do you bet were white?(all). How many do you think will ever have to walk into a job interview to face three black men, and be competing against all blacks for the job? This is so sad. These people are oblivious to the world around them. Blacks have been screwed for years out of jobs. Take away Affirmative action, and they will still get screwed. Yet if some poor oppressed white person may lose out on a job to a black person, they automatically assume it is "unfair" and obvioulsy only because of Affirmative Action.

2. That reminds me
of one of my favorite bumper stickers....

"It will be a great day when our schools have ALL the money they need, and the navy will have to hold bakesales to buy their battleships."

7. In California college conservatives did the same...
...and if memory serves me right Asians were a notch below whites, but paid more than Latinos or blacks. Women were not included.

5. since white men still earn more, on average, than any other group
this 'protest' served as a perfect illustration.
