Fantasy time: Remember the ending of All The President's Men?
Where the tele-type is printing out the Washington Post headlines of all the guilty verdicts coming down, and working up to Nixon's resignation.

Wouldn't you just love to replace the Nixon-era names with the Bushies?

1. But in my fantasy it ends this way
Bush, Cheney and other former officers of the Bush administration convicted of war crimes in The Hague and sentenced to life in prison.

3. Now that you mention it
Umm, didn't I read on here that the US War Crimes Act of 1996 carries penalty of death?

4. Yes, but I have problems with capital punishment
Besides, I don't think a US court could try these bastards. I hope I'm wrong about that.

7. of course it's similar
Cheney, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz, and others served under Nixon, after all. There's been a lot of continuity in the cabinet.
