3. CNN has an hour long Exclusive with Cooper tomorrow 11:00 a.m. EDT!
They announced it this morning. Blitzer's doing the interview.

4. Should Cooper be spending so much time giving interviews? What's up
with that. It worries me. Is he now in charge of spin because his "source" released him? Wouldn't it be better for him to just do his job and stay out of the limelight with the investigation still ongoing?

He said in an earlier interview he just wanted to go back to his normal life of reporting...this sure doesn't sound like his normal life. :eyes:

5. Cross promotion for Time mag. Cooper said he would write an article.
Edited on Sat Jul-16-05 01:24 PM by Garbo 2004
No surprise CNN has an "exclusive," it's a tie in with Time mag. It's all Time Warner.

But how "exclusive" is it when Cooper's on NBC's MTP also? Will he do Letterman next? For an exclusive late night network talk show? Sheesh.
Edited to add, ooh MTP also has an "exclusive:"

As the investigation into the leak of Valerie Plame's identity as a CIA officer heats up, we will have an exclusive network interview with one of the men at the center of the investigation -- Time Magazine reporter Matt Cooper. He avoided going to jail just days ago by testifying to the grand jury after his source released him from his pledge of confidentiality. What did Matt Cooper tell the grand jury? He will discuss his testimony for the first time this Sunday on "Meet the Press with Tim Russert." http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/3898804/

Now Cooper's a media celeb.

8. His wife is Dem Political Operative Mandy Grunwald...Clinton Fame..

yeah...Media Corporate Ownership thing. He's looking to write a book
that will make a fortune for "Time/Warner." And his wife just happens to be DU Political Activist, Mandy Grunwald who was so prominent when Clinton was running. :eyes: I think they must be divorsed since Matt said he gave a "goodbye to his 6 year old son" and didn't mention his "WIFE" in any Media Reports that I saw.

I did see Mandy walking beside him in front of the press when he was "let off the hook" BTW...

Mandy was being the "good soldier" here?
