Any thoughts on a "Misery Index for Campaign 2004?"
The repukes did this by adding unemployement and inflation together for the 1980 campaign.

I am thinking something like unemployment & the % drop in the Dow since the last election (For Clinton that would make a minus misery index...the opposite of misery being happiness!

Just a thought...but the Dems need to draw out folks with a meme that has emotion appeal, and as the saying goes misery loves company!

1. Compute
unemployment + mortgage foreclosures + personal bankruptcies

It would be a staggering figure if you could figure out how to combine those statistics.
