Cheney suffering from esophagitis
The endoscopy "indicated mild esophagitis" or swelling or irritation of the esophagus, the tube that leads from the back of the mouth to the stomach. The statement did not elaborate on the cause of Cheney's condition.

Esophagitis frequently occurs when acid-containing fluid flows from the stomach back into the esophagus. Other possible causes include excessive vomiting, surgery and some medications.

4. Of course, I wish him a full recovery
which I think is likley when you have access to the best government funded health care money can buy.

A shame this Administration seeks to deny that to the rest of the American people.

18. Almost everyone here remembers his disappearance 3/4 weeks ago
He was taken to a Colorado Hospital that the Secret Service took over. He signed in as "Dr. Hoffman" and supposedly was treated for "an old football injury". He was not seen again for 3/4 weeks and finally came back a few days ago looking like this:

26. Yeah, i am not sure it was a stroke...
for example it could have been a heart attack, but it sure lookes like much more of a major medical problem than a knee injury...

This totally explains the entire technicolor, neocon world-domination hallucination!

20. Quick put him on an Iraqi oil IV
<If untreated, esophagitis may cause severe discomfort, swallowing difficulty to the extent of causing malnutrition or dehydration, and eventual scarring of the esophagus. This scarring may lead to a stricture of the esophagus, and food or medications may not be able to pass through to the stomach.>

I wonder if his pain is close to the pain of all those families that have
lost members to his oil war?

I wonder if it is from surgery or just NERVES?

21. Hope it's just minor
Personally I hope his condition is treatable and does not lead to a chronic condition such as esoshageal cancer. Knew of a few EC victims and it was tortuous for them.

I really want him to see the rest of the 4 years through and see what actually goes down...

It sounds like cheney's got a host of health problems. Acid reflux, high blood pressure, bad heart, high cholesterol, etc.

on edit: Acid reflux can be very dangerous if not treated correctly.

Cheney and I probably take some of the same meds for heart failure. ACE inhibitors and Beta Blockers can frequently cause these problems. My doctor prescribed a simple med and it cleared it all up.
