The Screwing of America and The Stain on The Flag
Karl Rove has screwed the American people. When Bill Clinton was condemned for getting a famous stain on a famous blue dress, the GOP went after him for over two years, crying "Impeachment! Clinton is a liar! IMPEACH!!!"

Well, now. Let's cut to the chase, shall we? Karl Rove has outed a CIA agent and risked the lives of said agent as well as all her contacts in the world. His action, with the enthusiastic compliance of a couple of so-called unbiased news reporters, has made our country more vulnerable to terrorism. His behavior is beyond disgusting and criminal...it is UNPATRIOTIC. Karl Rove has possibly committed an act of treason.

At the very least, he has broken the law and compromised our national security. And...lies? Shall we count all the lies from this administration? How about the lies regarding nonexistent WMD that promoted an illegal invasion and destruction of a country that had never done anything against the American people? Yes, those are the lies that Joseph Wilson exposed to the world, lies that were corroborated by the infamous Downing Street Memo and largely ignored by the UNPATRIOTIC American media, who are nothing more than a GOP mouthpiece that has been criminally complicit in allowing Bush and his minions to deceive the American people, and to cover-up the numerous crimes and skullduggery of government and military officialdom and their US corporate shadows.

As the Karl Rove saga continues, it's important that we keep in mind that Rove and Bush are joined at the hip. To assume that Bush is clueless about Rove's actions is absurd. While everyone is focusing on Rove, maybe the REAL question is...did the historically vindictive Bush have a hand in this adventure? If he didn't actually ORDER the outing of Valerie Plame, he MOST CERTAINLY knew his friend Rove was involved. To think otherwise is to live in denial with the tooth fairy and Osama bin Forgotten. I find it very interesting that the GOP isn't all over this scandal the way they were when Clinton was screwing Monica and leaving stains on her blue dress. (Interesting...but not surprising. The neocons don't EVER put the good of the country over party loyalty and corporate interests. Just check some of the pork barrel legislation that benefits big business at the expense of the American people, and my observation will prove to be correct).

1. It's foolish and shortsighted to focus on Karl Rove.

The back story to ALL of this is the fabric of lies that the bush junta wove to drag this country into an unnessecary and illegal war.

Read Frank Rich's excellent editorial in the NYT to get a handle on the BIG picture:

Follow the Uranium

<snip>

To see the main plot, you must sweep away the subplots, starting with the Cooper e-mail. It has been brandished as a smoking gun by Bush bashers and as exculpatory evidence by Bush backers (Mr. Rove, you see, was just trying to ensure that Time had its facts straight). But no one knows what this e-mail means unless it's set against the avalanche of other evidence, most of it secret, including what Mr. Rove said in three appearances before the grand jury. Therein lies the rub, or at least whatever case might be made for perjury.

<snip>

This case is about Iraq, not Niger. The real victims are the American people, not the Wilsons. The real culprit - the big enchilada, to borrow a 1973 John Ehrlichman phrase from the Nixon tapes - is not Mr. Rove but the gang that sent American sons and daughters to war on trumped-up grounds and in so doing diverted finite resources, human and otherwise, from fighting the terrorists who attacked us on 9/11. That's why the stakes are so high: this scandal is about the unmasking of an ill-conceived war, not the unmasking of a C.I.A. operative who posed for Vanity Fair.

Focusing on Rove is NOT helpful.

3. Karl was at the beginning of the article but if
you read it all, you would of seen the writer go off on the whole Administration for their actions... Karl is a part of this, but not all.

4. Rove has
'stained the flag', but don't forget who is behind Rove. He doesn't act alone in this abominal intrigue. He is Bushs' right hand man. Where does Cheney fit in? Rove may be the fall guy for the administration, but lest we forget, he does not act alone and only with permission from his 'superiors'. Bush claims that he alone is the leader of the chain of command.
