The trouble with hanging out in DU is that you can get a warped perspective. I've been glued to my computer watching ever smidgeon of information on the Rove scandal unfold. But what's the country thinking? This place is sort of a hothouse environment and I don't know what John Q. Public is making of all this.

2. I checked Zogby website yesterday
and they sent me a poll about 2 weeks ago. Nothing then or now about Rove.

5. There's a new Ipsos poll out on Bush's numbers...
I don't have the newspaper in front of me, but I'll add more info when I do...

However, I do remember these stats from the new Ipsos poll:

Bush's overall approval rating is at 42 percent--a new low. This is the lowest Bush's rating has been in any Ipsos poll.

Bush's approval in handling the "war on terror' is at 51 percent, up slightly.

That's all I remember.

42 percent. A kumquat could get 42 percent!

7. A kumquat
IS getting 42 percent.

Oh, wait...is that an insult to kumquats?

8. You're right...
...it is an insult to kumquats, the entire Kumquat Grower's Association and the kumquat lobby.

My apologies to this much-adored fruit for comparing it to the numb skull who currently sits in the WH.
