7. Dammit! You tricked me into reading one of their pray for Bush threads
I hate those things and haven't read one in years now! They truly make me sick. I can understand what hypocrites they are because I know that's how they are so I expect it when I read one of their threads. But their hypocritical pray for Bush threads are beyond anything I can tolerate over there.

But it's ok.. I'll get over it in a while.

It's so very sad.

For the life of me--I cannot fathom how any person (Christian or otherwise) could be so hoodwinked by that evil, horrible, murderer in the White House.

Why do they think Bush cares at all about Christianity...because he SAYS he does? Because he flashes his religion like a used-car salesman whips out slick one liners to vulnerable customers?

Bush has murdered thousands of innocent Iraqi men, women and children. He lied us into a war! He has the blood of our US soldiers on his scrawny paws. He doesn't care. He has no empathy.

There was NEVER any 9/11 connection in Iraq! There were no terrorists in Iraq, and before we arrived there were no suicide bombers in Iraq!! Bush lied to American, but worst of all---he has used religion to hoodwink and bamboozle God-fearing, Christan people.

For the love of Pete, wake up people!!

BTW--I'm a Christan. I attend church and a bible study group. It's not that I hate Christianity. It's that I hate to see evil flourish because some demented snakeoil salesman has convinced a large group of Christians that he's their buddy.

It's perverse that anyone associates Bush with Christianity--or anything remotely moral.

18. I'm with you
TwoSparkles. I'm Christian too and me and my mother don't like Bush at all. Neither does my grandfather (he thinks he's a moron) and my grandfather is an elder at his church. You can feel the evil pour off of him. It's truly horrible. Just remembering what Mrs. Sheehan said about her meeting of Bush sends chills up my spine and makes the hair on my arms stand up.

9. Michael Corleone
This reminds me of the christening scene in The Godfather, when they keep cutting back and forth from Michael in the church, "renouncing Satan", and piously participating in the sacraments, to showing his minions committing one brutal and cold-blooded execution after another on his command.

16. It all makes me sick
These sickos are praying for a person who has no conscience. The person who ignored warning and caused 3000 people to die, the person who has caused 1700+ troops to die, the person who wants to destroy the only source of income some elderly people. Well I have news for you free republic trash, God doesn't bless the Devil incarnate, so cut the crap and start praying that he's kicked out of office and that our nation is restored to it's greatness

22. Do not underestimate the magnitude of this.
Thousands and thousands of crippled US soldiers, hundreds of thousands of dead Iraqis, thousands and thousands of deformities caused by depleted uranium. That's how bad it is.

"Drown out the voices of deceipt that surround him and let him hear only You."

Can I get a receipt? For that deceipt?

28. Voices of deceipt*?
Well then he wouldn't be able to hear his own voice or any of his cronies' voices either. Then they'd all have to resort to written messages or learn sign language, which would slow everything down. it would all be one big mess.

*spelling error intentional

26. Wow...
It always amazes me how arrogant these people are.

"Lord, I lift up this nation, though Lord. For it seems in the least that she is lukewarm towards You and we would rather her have a burning desire towards You. Men seek satisfaction in worldly things and not in You and the church has lost her mission. Bring us back to You and preserve Your heritage of Christian love upon our nation."

Ten ways 'till
Sunday...

It's wrong because the author assumes that his 'Lord's wishes' coincide with every other 'Godly' individual on the planet.
Which must be his Pastor, the Mayor, the Sheriff, librarian, coffee shop owner, and the mailman.

Sure- it could be many more people than that, but that brings us to;
"Men seek satisfaction in worldly things and not in You and the church has lost her mission."

-Then why do you waste your time trying to influence the world? Lemme guess... it's Satisfying to enlighten people?

Right?

The problem is, these people are taught that "reason is the devil's tool, and the wicked tongue of a friend may seem convincing, but if you feel you are being swayed... return quickly to 'the Lord' to be safe."

Meaning that they can never listen to a convincing argument without thinking they are being manipulated... It is the ultimate Ignorance meme.

Scary

30. They like to brag about how religious they are to one another.
That's they only reason why the freepshits go to a public forum and write down and post what/how they pray. Here I am, look at me! I'm a bigger fristian than you! See? See me pray! See I am a fristian!!
If these fuck heads didn't have each other to brag to about their religion, they'd lose what little mind they have.
